The Alarcos Archaeological Park is made up of a nucleus located in the Alarcos site and its surroundings and the open archaeological site called Calatrava la Vieja. It is an “Iberian oppidum”, with a long cultural ascription, spanning from the Bronze Age to the end of the Middle Ages. The place is located 8 kms. Northwest of the urban area of Poblete (Ciudad Real).
